Toasted Almond Glaze

Easy, two (maybe three for upgrade) ingredients sweet and sticky almond glaze for topping, glazing, drizzling and dipping cakes, pastries, cookies, cupcakes and more.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup (240ml) Sweetened Condensed Milks one can
  • 2-4 teaspoons Almond extract

Instructions

  • Pour the milk into a medium bowl, then mix in the almond extract. Use.

Notes

  • Refrigerate the glaze for up to three weeks in an air tight container.
  • For a toasted almond glaze: process 1/2 cup (60) sliced toasted almonds until a paste is formed. You can use a food processor, or coffee grinder.
  • Start with 2 teaspoons of almond extract, let it sit for a few minutes to soak in the flavor and taste. Add more if desired. 
  • A teaspoon of lemon juice will balance the sweetness. It will not add flavor.
