1. Using the oven. Spread the pecans in an even layer, bake for 10 minutes, tossing halfway.
2. Over the stove. Spread the pecan in an even layer over a wide sautés pan and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes shaking the pan every 20 seconds.
3. Using the microwave Place a paper towel over a microwave safe pate and evenly spread the pecans, roast for 1.5 minutes, turn over and repeat.
